THE MANUBRIUM LIFT®

A familiar cue within daily care.

Dr Shahar connects sitting and standing to the Manubrium Lift: a gentle upward cue through the upper breastbone. Its intended role is to help you find a comfortable upright position while keeping breathing and movement easy.

The Manubrium Lift lesson explains its purpose, clinical observations and limits. It belongs alongside support, movement and individual care.

Why posture matters

Your head, arms and trunk have weight. Their position and support change what surrounding muscles, joints and tissues have to manage.

Load beyond a tissue’s capacity can cause damage. Pain and reduced function are also possible, but these do not always occur together or in a fixed sequence.
